Healthwatch Luton Annual Report 2025-26

Healthwatch Luton is pleased to publish our annual report, highlighting the impact of our work over the past year. The report showcases how local people's experiences and feedback have helped shape health and social care services in Luton, alongside our key achievements, priorities and the difference we have made for our community.

About our work

At Healthwatch Luton, we make sure the voices of local people are at the heart of health and social care. As the independent champion for people using NHS and social care services, we listen to residents’ experiences, identify the issues that matter most, and work with local organisations to help improve the quality of care.

Over the past year, we have engaged with people across Luton in communities, healthcare settings and local events, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to share their views. We have provided trusted information and signposting to help people access the support they need, while using the feedback we receive to influence decision-makers and drive positive change.

Our Annual Report highlights the impact of this work, showcasing the difference local people’s voices have made. It reflects our commitment to ensuring health and social care services are accessible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of our diverse community. From gathering experiences and carrying out research to working in partnership with local providers and commissioners, every aspect of our work is focused on improving services for the people of Luton.

We are proud of what we have achieved alongside our partners and, most importantly, the residents who continue to share their experiences with us. Their voices remain central to everything we do, helping to shape better health and social care services both now and for the future.

We invite you to read our Annual Report to learn more about our achievements, the challenges we have helped address, and the impact we have made together over the past year.
