Primary Care
HUC, offers a variety of care services to patients, including: NHS 111, General Practitioner (GP) Out of Hours Service, Extended Access, Dental Out of Hours Service, Primary Care Services at Luton Town Centre GP Service, and Acute In Hours Visiting Service (AIHVS):
GP services are overseen by the NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board. They are responsible for planning and buying (or ‘commissioning’) NHS-funded healthcare for the almost 1 million people living in BLMK.
Urgent and emergency care services
Services the NHS provides if you need urgent or emergency medical help.
This service is for serious injuries and life-threatening emergencies. It's also known as the emergency department or casualty. Important: A&E departments are very busy and you will likely have to wait for some time to be seen.

Local Sexual Health Services
Luton Sexual Health is a free, friendly and confidential service. They are an NHS service, and are a department of the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
LSH provide services such as:
- STI Testing
- Contraception
- Emergency Contraception
- Condom Card Scheme (C-Card)
- Under 18’s Support
- SEND Support
- HIV
- HIV Prevention

Sexual assault/abuse Support
Offer free, confidential healthcare and compassionate support, in Bedfordshire and Luton, to people of all ages, who have experienced sexual assault, including rape.
Our SARC services operate between 9 am – 9 pm (Monday – Sunday). You can contact us on 0330 223 0099.
You can report sexual abuse to Bedfordshire police online or find advice and support on their website.
If you are a woman who has been affected by sexual violence or there is anything related to this issue that is troubling you, we can offer our support and advice on where to get the best specialist help.
